Sweet Magnolia Photography- NY
From Paige: When she started lining up all the dining room chairs one Sunday afternoon, I knew she had something creative in mind. Her imagination is always going full steam ahead and she’s always constructing things. Whether it’s pretending a pile of clothes is a bird’s nest, carrying her toys in her mouth from room to room on her hands and knees because she’s a dog that day, or building a secret fort out of blankets and stacked furniture. This day was no different. She was transforming herself into a train conductor. Filling the “cars” (chairs) with “passengers” aka: stuffed animals. Taking tickets and stamping them. Pulling the horn and yelling “All aboard!!” Using a round velcro ball catch toy as a steering wheel. She took turns as a Conductor and a Passenger so none of her “friends” (stuffies) felt bad. I adore watching her at play and I love recording these precious memories. Then I enjoy putting the camera down and joining her in the moment. These years are all too fleeting, but I will always be there to ride the rails with my sweet Magnolia.
