So you are an everyday photographer, YAY! That means at a minimum you likely have 30ish awesome images each month. What do you DO with those photos? Do they live on your harddrives? Do you hang your favorites on your walls? Make other great products with them?
So it’s February and in Facebook-land my feed is filled with people wrapping up their 2013 365 projects and those one month into a 2014 project 365. I know everyone doesn’t start their Project 365 on January 1st, just many do and coincide with those New Year’s resolutions to “shoot more personal shots”.
For the last two years I have made slideshows of the images to share with family and friends. A whole year’s worth of images are just amazing when you watch them in less than 3 minutes with some great background music. I just wrapped up my first month in 2014 and I saw several monthly “calendars” with everyday images from several friends. So I sat down and make one for myself in InDesign.
Next up I have started designing my album from 2013. There are several companies you can use but a few really popular ones are Blurb and Artifact Uprising. I was also inspired by a recent email from Artifact Uprising with their wood calendars and if I can pick my favorite 12 images that might be my next project!
So, what do YOU do with your everyday images? Would love to hear so tell us in the comments so we can all be inspired to use our everyday images!
